Every stage of childhood is filled with exciting milestones, and our programs are thoughtfully designed to nurture each one. From our youngest infants to our school-age learners, discover how Friendswood Learning Academy provides a strong academic foundation, meaningful outdoor experiences, and a caring environment where learning truly takes root.
Our Infant Program provides a safe, nurturing environment where each child's individual schedule is respected. Through responsive caregiving, sensory exploration, tummy time, music, language-rich interactions, and outdoor experiences, we support healthy cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development. Every cuddle, conversation, and discovery lays the foundation for a lifelong love of learning.
As children become more mobile and independent, our Pre-Toddler Program encourages exploration through hands-on learning, purposeful play, and guided discovery. Teachers introduce early language, fine and gross motor activities, sensory experiences, and social skills while fostering curiosity, confidence, and independence. Outdoor exploration and nature-based learning remain an important part of each day.
Our Toddler Program is designed to encourage independence while building the skills children need for future academic success. Using the Frog Street Curriculum, children begin developing early literacy, math, science, language, and social-emotional skills through engaging, hands-on experiences. Teachers also support self-help skills, including potty training readiness, while encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and confidence in a caring environment.
Our Preschool Program is the beginning of our Public School Readiness Pathway. Through the Frog Street Curriculum, children participate in structured learning experiences that develop early reading, writing, math, science, & critical thinking skills. Daily routines build independence, responsibility, & social-emotional growth while maintaining opportunities for exploration, creativity, & outdoor learning. Our goal is to help every child enter Pre-K with confidence & a strong academic foundation.
Our Pre-Kindergarten Program provides an advanced learning experience designed to prepare children for a successful transition into kindergarten. Using the Frog Street Curriculum and Texas Prekindergarten Guidelines, children strengthen early literacy, phonics, handwriting, mathematics, STEM concepts, and problem-solving skills while developing independence, self-regulation, and collaboration. Through intentional instruction and hands-on learning, our graduates will be ready for kindergarten!
Our School Age Program offers a safe, engaging environment before and after school, on school holidays, and during summer camps. Children receive homework support, participate in STEM activities, creative projects, outdoor adventures, and enrichment experiences that encourage leadership, teamwork, and critical thinking.
